Our vineyards cover more thant 58 hectareas of owned land and 26 Ha more of leased land, with grapes in all of the varieties of grapes authorized by the Rioja Denominación de Origen Calificada (Inspected Source or Appellation).
The varieties we grow are: Tempranillo (43 hs.), Graciano (15 hs.), Garnacha (11 hs.), Merlot (8 hs.) y Viura (7 hs.)
These vineyards are physically located in 4 country estates: La Plana (35,5 hs.), Cabezuelos (19,6 hs.), Cabezuelos II (8,9 hs.) y Umiro (23,8 hs.)
Located on agricultural lands that sometimes have irrigation and sometimes don't, we make use of the most appropriate watering systems in each case (drip system, surface watering, sub-soil watering, etc.)
The climate is Continental Mediterranean, with a mean average temperature of 14º; hot, dry summers and cold winters with frequent frosts.
The texture of the silty, sandy soils is fine, with very low levels of grit, and the drainage varies greatly from one area to another, without interfering with the watering system.
